Chlorinated Rubber (CR) Paint

  • Chlorinated rubber paints are a reaction between poly-isoprene and chlorine gas in a suitable solvent.
  • Due to the high molecular weight polymeric material, chlorinated rubber paints dry physically, upon solvent evaporation, making this product series fast drying. GP has developed customized products where the drying time can be adjusted to the user’s requirement.
  • Chlorinated rubber paints from GP are single pack products providing excellent acid and chemical resistance.
  • GP understands the environmental effects of products containing carbon tetrachloride and hence has created an alternate product family with enhanced high-performance characteristics.
